1 hour from Gold Coast! Hotel which you may want to stay with someone special on special day.

Hello everyone!

It’s Hiroko from IWHP.
It’s heavy cloudy and chilly here on the Gold Coast.
I feel like spending a relaxing time at home on days like this.

Recently, we stayed at a hotel in Brisbane on our last long weekend in April.
It was a birthday gift. The concept was to get away from the house and stay and relax at a nice hotel.

We used the website called Hotel Trivago which compares the best prices and reviews.

We found a lot of good hotels and finally chose Capri by Frazer Brisbane this time.

We arrived on Friday night and I haven’t felt busy Friday night feeling for ages so it was kind of exciting.

After checking in, we went up to our room,  I love the feeling you get the first time you enter the room!

The quality of the room

It was avarage size but it was big enough.
The bed was large and everything was modern.
I loved the indirect lightning in the room.
If you have a baby, they will give you a baby cot for free but we didn’t need it this time because we all slept in the bed.

The cleanliness of the room.

It was clean! I didn’t feel it was dirty or discusting.

The toileties of the room.

We expected that there would be the toothbrushes and brushes for the guests. But there were only shower caps, shampoo, conditioner and cotton puffs. We should’ve checked it before coming but we thought most of the hotels had toothbrushes and brushes…so we ended up buying them.
There was also complementary coffee and tea.
The receptionist told us we could get a bottle of champagne but we didn’t know how to get it so we didn’t bother.

Breakfast at the Hotel

I was happy with their breakfast. It was a buffet so I ate a lot!
Our baby also had the buffet with us but she only ate watermelon…lol
If you choose the room witout breakfast, you can stay much cheaper!

The location of the Hotel

10 mins from Central Station by foot.
You go through main street and it is on Albert street.
You can see the big hotel sign so it is easy to find.
And it is in a very convinient place!! There are a lot of restaurants near by and it’s a few minutes walk to the from Botanic Garden.
The hotel is on a main street but it is quiet at night.

The hotel facilities.

It has swimming pool, steam sauna, gym, the kids can play X box games.
The swimming pool was warm but we were kinda sick so we felt cold.
I tried the steam sauna, it was so nice.
The gym is very nice and has a slot of equipment while exercising in the gym, the kids can use the X box console which is located in the gym area.
Not so many people were using the facilities so you don’t have to worry about taking a child.
There is also a laundry connected to the gym for guests.

I think that’s all about it.
We are going to stay at another hotel in Brisbane again as my parents are coming over here next month.
Next time, we are goint stay at one of the hotel which Adam the teacher wanted to stay. I might be able to talk about it again!

This Hotel is also good for couples on special days or a for a family!
